Gastonia Ladies - Time to Reclaim Our Game!

dsc8434_recjoe1741377914.jpgHey ladiesI’m Ali—the Marketing Director for League Joe and the ultimate hype woman for League Jane. Isn’t it funny how guys think they own OUR GAME? Well, it’s my mission to take it back and bring women back to the sport we grew up playing.

When we launched League Jane in Indy, it wasn’t easy. We scraped together just enough to form three teams, but we stuck it out, had fun, and introduced so many first-time players to slow-pitch. Fast forward, and those early efforts have grown into a thriving six-team league in Indianapolis, plus multiple women’s draft tournaments across the country.

gastonia,
we're in the same spot as before and need your help!

email-graphic_recjoe1741378342.pngOver 40 women have signed up, but only 12 have completed payment. The worst thing we can do is let this flop—so we’re playing, no matter what. But we need you. And we’re willing to invest in this league to make it happen.

So, here’s the deal: This season is HALF OFF. Sign up and pay right now, and you get 16 games for just $49. If you have to miss a week or two—no worries that's what subs are for!

And for those of you who have already paid, don’t stress—we’ve got your back. Half of your league fee will be converted into LJ credit for another league, merch, or swag.

meet your commissioner
Madison Smith!

2025-socials-6_recjoe1741378119.pngMadison has been part of League Joe Gastonia since the beginning, though her first season was spent cheering from the sidelines while pregnant in the summer heat! She’s played slow-pitch since she was 12 years old and has always loved the game, especially the supportive and empowering atmosphere of women’s softball. Seeing women lift each other up, compete, and just have fun is what makes the sport so special to her.

As the new Gastonia League Jane Commish, Madison is excited to grow the league, connect with other softball-loving women, and create a fun and welcoming space for all skill levels. Off the field, she and her husband are busy raising their 17-month-old miracle baby boy alongside their 3 loved doggos!

but first things first -

this league HAS to make And we need you to help us make it happen.

womens-v25recjoe1738087752_recjoe1741378367.jpgHelp me and Madison twist some arms, rally your friends, and get more women back on the field. If we can pull this off, we’re laying the foundation for a PERMANENT space for women to play slow-pitch in Gastonia.

I’ve seen it happen before, and together, we will make it happen again!
